To enhance the Year 1 History unit, students came to school dressed from yesteryear and made butter, danced the Heel and Toe Polka, participated in “old school” Handwriting and Arithmetic lessons, made hand sewn sock puppets and played many ‘old fashioned’ games. The students had a lot of fun exploring what school life was like in the past, and they looked great!
